A liter of fuel is no longer six cedis. The Ghana Petroleum Authority has increased the prices of fuel in Ghana by 2%. Fuel prices are expected to be increased by 2% today Wednesday 30 June 2021. The price of a liter of diesel of petrol will be increased by two percent. As we all know, the prices of fuel in Ghana have been increased more than five times this year. A liter of fuel will be sold at six cedis thirty-three pesewas while a gallon of fuel will be sold for twenty-eight cedis seven pesewas from today. A liter of fuel was sold at four cedis seven pesewas around December 2020. The prices were increased again so it was sold at six cedis around May 2021. Now a liter of fuel is sold at six cedis thirty-three pesewas.
Many drivers in Ghana have complained about the increment in the price of fuel in Ghana. Some Ghanaians have said that it is too expensive.
