Three Victims Dead In A Serious Accident

Three people were killed on the spot in another serious road accident near Diaso in the Central Region’s Upper Dankyira West District.

According to reports, the accident occurred on the Agona Port Highway, which is a major thoroughfare. A motorcycle and a taxi were involved in an accident on Wednesday, May 26, 2021.

When the taxi driver was driving on the main road, he collided with a motorcycle that was speeding. According to eyewitnesses, the motorcycle had three people on board, while the taxi driver was alone.

Unfortunately, all three people who were riding the motorcycle died. They consisted of two females and a male rider.

The two women died on the spot, while the driver passed out while being transported to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital for treatment.

According to an eyewitness, the use of motorcycles for commercial purposes is very common in the area, and this is what killed the three people.

He claims that the majority of the riders have disregarded the Okada businesses’ safety equipment and are riding the motor at top speed.
He goes on to say that such an accident is common in the area.

“There are a lot of motorcycles here,” says the narrator. They ride them wherever they want in the area when they buy them new. The majority of the time, we see them at top speed. The taxi driver collided with another taxi on the main highway, which resulted in the accident.

The two females died on the spot, but the male rider died on his way to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital. The taxi driver’s condition is also critical, Amponsah Joseph indicated.

According to photos taken at the scene of the accident, the taxi was irreparably damaged. The engine component had been destroyed, and the two motorcyclists’ bodies could be seen lying helplessly on the roadside.
